Gagan and Rishab’s two day celebration was a combination of tradition and elegance. The festivities started on day one with a traditional Haldi, then an upscale and classy welcome reception to end the night. In this album, the focus is on day two, highlighting their traditional Sikh wedding ceremony and their stunning attire with portraits around the property, ending with a farewell cocktail reception.
FROM JOSEPH: Having a good relationship with my clients is really important to me. I love getting to know them and their unique touches for their wedding. Gaganpreet and Rishab’s Indian wedding was full of rich cultural elements and traditions, and I really wanted to make sure I understood them, and was able to capture them correctly and respectfully. Together with their wedding planner, the couple and I had calls throughout the planning process to make sure I fully knew and understood their wedding day. All weddings are unique and special, and my goal is to allow my couples to relive those moments in their photos and videos.
Maintaining strong relationships between professionals is so important to me. Wedding days can be long (my team and I had 14 hour days for Gaganpreet and Rishab’s wedding) so in addition to leaning on my team, I rely heavily on the support from our venues and amazing vendor partners. Knowing this was a long wedding, the Four Seasons created a vendor room for us to leave our gear, and even set up a yummy coffee station for us. Their wedding planner worked side by side with my team to support us through all of the different events, reminded us of the cultural details that were happening, and snuck us snacks whenever possible. Working together with professionals that support each other makes a wedding day that much better for everyone!
