When a couple gets married, honoring both of their cultures is always an important element of the wedding. Sahara and Steven managed to incorporate several cultural elements at their ceremony and reception, while also adding some Hawaiian flair. Just like the couple – this was truly a gorgeous wedding – inside and out!
FROM JOSEPH: Couples that get married at Kualoa Ranch will often get ready somewhere else. In this instance, Sahara and Steven got ready at Turtle Bay Resort. My photo and video team and I started in the morning with them at Turtle Bay, then half of my team headed to Kualoa Ranch to capture the details before guests arrived. As one team of photographers and videographers, I stayed with Sahara and Steven at Turtle Bay until they left, but my team seamlessly split up and captured all of the Kualoa Ranch details, guests arriving and riding the canoes to the ceremony, and all the little details I personally couldn’t catch since I was with the couple. Teamwork truly makes the dream work.
I love our photo + video team and am a firm believer that having one team for both allows you to have a more seamless experience on your wedding day. With one company managing both photo and video, the entire team shares a single vision and common goal. We are not stepping in front of each other, and will work together to capture moments authentically, so you won’t need to pose twice. One team, one vision.
