Have you ever planned an entire event around a color? That’s exactly what Sue and Nick did for their “Pretty in Pink” themed wedding. The Royal Hawaiian Resort (aka, The Pink Palace) with its iconic pink building was clearly their must-have venue. In addition to the venue, pink accents were added throughout the wedding with lush florals and subdued pink linens and decor, achieving Sue and Nick’s soft, romantic vision for their wedding day.
FROM JOSEPH: I’m going to be completely honest when I say that weddings in Waikiki can be tricky. Don’t get me wrong – I love so much about them (close to the beach, ease for your guests, air conditioned ballrooms!) but hear me out. Weddings in Waikiki are tricky for photographers because there are often a lot of hotel guests wandering around the wedding, and can sometimes get into your photos. As a professional photographer, these photos get extra TLC as I edit each one to remove people behind your ceremony, remove random dudes in speedos on the beach, and anyone else that takes away from your wedding day. Editing out the speedos is just one of the many details we can remove to make your wedding photos perfect for you.
I know what you’re thinking… if you can remove dudes in speedos, what else can you remove? Honestly? A lot. I’ve removed pimples, mosquito bites, bra straps, wind-blown hair and so much more. Ideally, if there’s something you’re concerned about on your wedding day (like a pimple) – let me know at the start of the day so we can help guide you into positions that might make it less noticeable. Then in post production, I can edit the photos to completely remove the pimple. My goal for your wedding photos is to give you photos you’ll love and cherish forever!
